ABOUT CMC
GEC incorporated in 1968. A full
service machine shop capable of large and small run machine work. Since
1974 we have been producing our own product, the GEC Turret Rewinder. We
specialized in doing work for the printing industry, but now are
diversified in all types of precision machine work for all industries.
Since 2003 we have been fabricating and building all of Roediger’s
equipment line. In April of 2006 Roediger Pittsburgh closed it’s doors
for business, then just a few months later filing for bankruptcy. Since
this time we at Graphic Equipment Corporation have been supplying
service and parts to Roediger's existing customers, as well as
continuing to build several machines that were still under contract.
Building the Roediger Equipment line of machinery blended well into our
factory’s production and manufacture of Parts and Machines. Adding a
Secondary product line in a different field makes perfect sense for
growth and diversification of our company. To facilitate this GEC has
hired former Roediger Engineering, Service and Sales personnel.
Our team of engineers and technicians is led by
Heinz Goetz.
He combines scientific knowledge with many years of experience as a
leader in the industry. His special field of expertise is sludge
processing.
This new
line of Machinery to soon be marketed as our own, under a new name
