    Features

  • Pressure rollers are arranged vertically. Area under pressure is maximized by optimum wrap.

  • Individual stainless steel drain pans positioned at each roller prevent re-wetting of sludge cake.

  • Discharge is located at the top of the vertical assembly to facilitate easy installation of conveyors, containers or lime post treatment equipment.

  • Pneumatic belt tensioning and center pivot tracking system continuously monitors and automatically corrects any misalignment of the dewatering belts. Belt wear is thus reduced and belt life increased.

    Operator Friendly

  • A major goal during the design of the Tower Press has been ease of operation; suggestions of operators helped us to achieve this goal.

  • The Tower Press's easy maintenance, "hands off" design reduces manpower needs and overall operation costs.

  • The low profile of the gravity section enables the operator to observe the entire dewatering process from ground level without the need for access platforms.

  • Doctor blades and plows are pneumatically actuated for easy operation and maintenance.

  • Center pivot tracking rolls eliminate one-side belt stretch and delivers quicker response to belt misalignment and extends belt life.

  • Rigid torque arm tensioning adjusts belt tension with parallel movement.

  • Optional filtration recycling eliminates the use of potable water for filter belt cleaning.
